PDGA Course Directory for Palm (v1.5)

This application contains a searchable database of the PDGA's Disc Golf Course Directory. If you're traveling to, say, Alabama, and you want to know what courses are around, this app is for you.

FREE SOFTWARE! This application is free, the source code is available, and is also free, although some rights are reserved. Updates to the PDGA Course Database will be provided on a periodic basis and also be free of charge.

This product is currently in Beta phase, but it's in very good working condition, and ready for use.

While the software is free, the PDGA retains its right to not have its work reproduced without prior written permission. Any right to reproduce and modify the source code and application does not apply to the PDGA course directory itself.

The licenses included in the downloads have been updated to reflect this. This statement does not infer anything about the PDGA's rights prior to the modification of the licenses themselves.

Free Software

This software is, and will always be free. If you feel the need to show your appreciation with money, here are some great alternatives:

	Donate the money to the Red Cross or WTC Relief Fund (etc.)
	Go buy flowers or candy for your receptionist or RA. Include a card saying why they deserve it.
	Write a check to your local Disc Golf course. Lots of these people do this as a labor of love. Tell 'em that computer guy sent you.

Planned Enhancements

The next couple of beta versions will address:

	The GUI/Interface issues
	More efficient storage of the course database
	Any bugs found during the Beta Phase
	Overall performance enhancements
	Documentation

Suggestions include:

	Beam an individual course to another user as a Note.
	Convert course to Note
	Beam entire app and the course directory
	Database stats (all-course summary)
	Track course scores. (Or, integrate with another golf scoring application)
