"This web project is the most self-indulgent, egotistical thing I have ever done in my life. But the day is young. I can top it." - Scott Adams

Welcome. This site serves the following purposes:

  • To provide a site that people visit excited
  • To provide a site that people leave inspired
  • To provide useful and entertaining information. Minimal fluff here
  • To find ways to expand this site while keeping it maintainable

Keeping a web site up to date is not so easy. You're constantly reinventing your site, adding, fixing. It's like this.
I've provided major links on the left, and the administrative ones up on top. Take a peek and see what you like.

Here's a piece of SUNY Binghamton History!

It's a photograph of Vice President Nelson Rockefeller giving students the finger, who were flipping one to him. (AP Photo).
From abcnews.com's website:

"During the 1976 election, Rockefeller was caught on camera giving the finger to hippie protesters at a Republican rally at the State University of New York at Binghamton. The press asked Bob Dole, then the Republican vice presidential candidate, why he didn’t join Rockefeller in a two-bird salute to the unruly crowd. Dole reminded reporters, 'I have trouble with my right arm.'

You have been told that, even like a chain, you are as weak as your weakest link.
This is but half the truth. You are also as strong as your strongest link.
To measure you by your smallest deed is to reckon the power of ocean by the frailty of its foam.
To judge you by your failures is to cast blame upon the seasons for their inconsistency.
